Summary of the contracting process

The procurement process for the Pension Support Services contract was initiated by Highlands and Islands Enterprise on behalf of The Board of Trustees of the HIE Superannuation Scheme. The tender is classified under pension services, located in Inverness, UK. This open procurement method entails a complete process, with the bid opening having taken place on 5th February 2019. Contracts are expected to be active for an initial period of 3 years with a total estimated value of between GBP 600,000 and GBP 645,000 (excluding VAT) for core service elements, with the potential for renewal.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses in the financial and pension services sectors, particularly those capable of providing administration, actuarial, and investment services. SMEs with experience in public sector contracts, as well as firms compliant with financial regulatory standards, would be well-positioned to compete.
