APUC Limited is leading the procurement process for the "Provision of Insurance Services" framework agreement aimed at providing comprehensive insurance coverage for universities and colleges in Scotland. This open procedure tender, classified under the services category, is currently in the Award stage. The contract, valued at £7.5 million, was signed on 2nd May 2019, with a framework period starting on 1st August 2019 and concluding on 31st July 2022. Interested parties should note that the deadline for submissions was 15th February 2019. The buyer is located in Stirling, UK, and the procurement is relevant to the education sector.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in insurance services, particularly those providing a wide range of cover such as property damage, liability, and professional indemnity, to name a few. Suppliers equipped with the necessary regulatory approvals from the UK Prudential Regulation Authority or Financial Conduct Authority are well-suited to compete. Additionally, the contract encourages participation from both large scale providers like Zurich Municipal and small to medium enterprises (SMEs) such as CCRS Brokers Ltd and FE Protect Scotland, offering a robust platform for suppliers looking to expand their footprint in the public sector insurance market.
