This procurement is concerned with the provision of a local bus service linking the communities of Killin, Lochearnhead and Strathyre with Callander and the wider public transport network. The services to be procured is a direct replacement for the services operating at present under a contract that expires on 30 March 2019: The Transport Act 1985 stipulates that local authorities must purchase supported bus services through competitive tendering. The Council does not hold a PSV Operator's Licence and therefore is unable to provide the service in-house. Please see tender documents for full details.
