Framework Agreement for the Supply of Forestry Planting Stock to the FC in Scotland
Notice Description
This is the contract award notice not a new tender opportunity. In order to meet our requirements Forestry Commission in Scotland put in place a Framework Agreement for the supply of Forestry Planting Stock for the following Lots: Lot 1 - Bare-Root Conifer Lot 2 - Bare-Root Broadleaves Lot 3 - Cell-Grown Conifers The total estimated value of this Framework Agreement over the entire period, including the extensions, will be in the region of 6.2 million GBP exc VAT. The Framework Agreement will be for the duration of 3 years, anticipated to commence June 2019 with an option to extend the Framework for a further 12 months. The Forestry Commission is currently made up of several parts and in Scotland the Forestry and Land Management (Scotland) Act 2018 completes the devolution of forestry from Westminster to Holyrood. Under this Act, Scottish Ministers set up a new executive agency: Forestry and Land Scotland (FLS) responsible for the management of the National Forest Estate.

Renewal: An option to extend the Framework for a further 12 months will be at the sole discretion of the Forestry Commission.
