Notice Information
Notice Title
Environmental Management System
Notice Description
NHS National Services Scotland (NSS) wishes to procure the services of a contractor[s] to develop and implement an Environmental Management System Tool (EMS) for NHSScotland Boards.
Lot Information
Lot 1
The Environmental Management System Tool (EMS) will assist the NHS Boards in demonstrating that they address and minimise environmental impacts, manage legal compliance and will ensure that continuous improvement with regards to environmental performance is made a priority. The EMS will be appropriate for the diverse nature of the NHSScotland estate, the large number of sites and broad range of activities/environmental aspects. The EMS currently used by NHSScotland is known as "Corporate Greencode". Feedback from users is that it is not user friendly, it has not consistently been adopted across all boards and a new tool is required.
