An evaluation of the Life Changes Trust Peer Support initiatives to determine: 1. the extent to which they are creating better lives for people with dementia; 2. the extent to which they are creating better lives for unpaid carers of people with dementia; 3. what has not worked and why; 4. what is needed to help a peer support initiative to succeed; 5. any barriers and challenges that the initiatives have faced and how they, where possible, overcame them; 6. how partnership working and collaboration has helped to influence and improve service delivery and practice; 7. the wider benefits of peer support to family, friends, community and society; and 8. the likelihood that these initiatives will be sustained in the long term.
