Pressure Relieving Beds & Mattresses Rental
Notice Description
NHS GG&C have a requirement for the rental of Pressure redistributing mattresses to deal with up to Grade 4 pressure damage and complex wounds. To also include specialist beds including spinal and bariatric. All products provided must be maintained, repaired and tracked. An "Out of Hours" process exists for critical areas where respiratory, spinal, bariatric, low level beds and air fluidised products will be available 24/7 - 365 Days. An online ordering, tracking and reporting system will be required and all National and local Infection Control policies and procedures adhered too. Products are required to support health care activity in all areas of NHS GG&C, primarily Acute but also Mental Health sites as required and a number of private Nursing Homes with NHS Beds / Patients. It will cover the provision of clinical beds required for moving & handling, bariatric nursing and spinal. It does not cover the provision of general Acute Hospital Beds.

Lot 1
There is a requirement to continue the rental of Pressure redistributing mattresses, up to Grade 4 pressure damage and complex wounds, as well as specialist beds, including, but not limited to, spinal and bariatric patient requirements, across GG&C. The maintenance, repair, moving and handling of all products is required across all areas of GG&C, mainly Acute, Mental Health and several private Nursing Homes. 24/7 - 365 Days a year Out of Hours processes exist for critical areas including respiratory, spinal, bariatric, low level beds and air fluidised products. An online ordering, tracking and reporting system will be required to be provided.
Renewal: The option of one twelve month extension.
