Notice Description

Renfrewshire Council's existing Urban Traffic Control (UTC) system is currently supported by analogue lines provided by British Telecom (BT). These lines are being made redundant in March 2020. In addition, the existing system is outdated, has no remote interface in the office and has no CCTV capability. To mitigate the risk which is about to crystallise from the BT line redundancy, the UTC system needs to be upgraded to ensure continuity of service. This contract is for the supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of a hosted Urban Traffic Control System as well as the ongoing maintenance of the system.
