The Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body (SPCB) is seeking to partner with an organisation who can deliver workshops within Scottish schools to produce a comic style product that tells the story of the Parliament and democracy in Scotland. This PIN is to gauge the number of potential service providers in the market who have the relevant experience and capability to deliver this requirement.

The Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body (SPCB) is seeking to partner with an organisation who can deliver workshops within Scottish schools to produce a comic style product that tells the story of the Parliament and democracy in Scotland. The provider must have experience of producing comic books and of working within the Scottish Education system. It is important that the work hits relevant curriculum experiences. Potential providers will therefore be able to demonstrate experience of delivering curriculum relevant workshops in schools. The SPCB would work in partnership with the potential provider to ensure appropriate editorial control, including adherence to the SPCB brand guidelines and accessibility requirements. The SPCB may require the comic books to be printed for distribution free of charge to schools or for sale within the Scottish Parliament shop. A desired outcome is for the resulting product to be fully accessible and interactive, to encourage a diverse range of users. It is also desirable to have the product translated into Gaelic. Any suppliers who consider themselves capable of providing this service, or wishing to request further information, are invited to contact procurement@parliament.scot by 23/04/19.
