Community Support Service
Notice Description
The procurement will deliver an Adult Community Support Service across Learning Disability, Physical Disability and Mental Health client groups. The scope of the procurement will encompass services currently referred to as Community Supports, 24Hr Support, Housing Support and Supported living services. It does not include care at home provision. Services will be delivered in a community setting, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year, inclusive of sleepovers and waking nights, to adults aged 16 and over who have been assessed by North Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership as requiring a service. Services will be delivered through a flexible framework contract model. The contract term will be for a total of Six (6) years. The term will be an initial two (2) year period, followed by two further extension periods of 2 years. Providers will be invited to join the Flexible Framework at the two year break periods through a formal tender process.
