Willimaburgh Housing Association - Medical Adaptations to Existing Properties
Notice Description
The Contract will involve the successful Contractor undertaking medical adaptation and associated works within existing residential dwellings over a four-year period from the commencement date. Currently, Williamsburgh Housing Association undertake and provide approximately Thirty (30) adaptations to existing bathrooms annually to their customers who reside in Paisley, Johnstone and Renfrew, Renfrewshire. Individual Orders will be issued for each adaptation required during the Contract and Bidders are advised that Williamsburgh Housing Association currently issue approximately forty (40) - fifty (50) Order per annum in relation to medical adaption works. Individual Orders may include full medical adaptation works to an existing bathroom or shower room, singular or multiple component works or trades.

Williamsburgh Housing Association are seeking to establish a Contract for the provision of Medical Adaptations to existing residential properties with a suitably experienced and qualified Contractor. The Contract is intended to commence in May 2019 and will operate for a maximum of four years (with the option for an extension of one further year) subject to satisfactory performance of the successful Bidder which will be measured through Key Performance Indicators. The Contract will primarily be delivered in Paisley, Renfrew and Johnstone, Renfrewshire but may also include works and services to properties in other towns and villages throughout Renfrewshire. The anticipated Contract Value is 60000-70000 GBP per annum (excluding VAT). Interested parties are advised that a 'Meet the Buyer' event shall be held at the offices of Williamsburgh Housing Association, Paisley, at 10.00am on Thursday 25th April 2019. The event is free of charge and shall provide further information through an overview of Williamsburgh Housing Association's requirements and how to complete the Tender Documentation. The event will also provide an opportunity for interested parties to ask questions of the buyer face-to-face. The question and answer session will be recorded and will be made available as 'additional information' through the Public Contracts Scotland portal during the tender period. Places are limited and interested parties are restricted to a maximum of two delegates from their organisation. To record your interest, please email the names of your organisations delegates to alan.shanks@ada-cc.co.uk no later than 17.00BST on Wednesday 24th April 2019. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis and further information on the 'Meet the Buyer' event schedule will be issued to registered delegates in advance of 25th April 2019. In the event of over-subscription we may restrict attendance to a single delegate per organisation.. Economic Operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in Regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.
Renewal: The Contract may be extended by Williamsburgh Housing Association by twelve calendar months (one year).
