The University has a requirement for supply, delivery, installation, commissioning, calibration, training and a 12 month warranty period for an Extensometer. The minimum requirements for the Extensometer are: Accurate to a minimum of class 0.5 to EN ISO 9513 standard. Capable of having multiple gauge lengths with a minimum range of 10mm to 50mm Capable of a measuring range of at least 300mm Sensor arms for tensile tests included for both round and flat samples Able to go until the sample breaks without taking any damage. Able to drive the test in strain control by connecting to an Ethernet slot or to a CAN bus measurement module The Extensometer will be connected to Existing Electromechanical Tensile and Compression Testing Machine and needs to meet the following minimum requirements Capable of measuring strain on a Zwick Z150 tensile machine at room temperature with test expert 2 software installed.
