Summary of the contracting process

The Scottish Government is conducting an open procurement for a Framework Agreement titled "Framework Agreement for UK & International Domestic Relocation Services," aimed at providing relocation services to various public bodies across Scotland. The procurement process is currently in the award stage, with the contract valued at £4,000,000. The tender was initiated on October 1, 2019, and the submission deadline was set for November 6, 2019. The agreement is designed to cover a range of service needs across Scotland, including its islands and occasionally to overseas locations, ensuring a consistent level of service delivery across diverse geographical areas.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in domestic and international relocation services, particularly small and medium enterprises (SMEs) equipped to handle the complexities of various public body requirements. Companies that can demonstrate flexibility, quality management, and the ability to provide comprehensive service at competitive rates will be particularly well-suited to compete. The potential for continuous improvement and community benefits also opens avenues for business growth, as suppliers may be encouraged to engage with local communities and support workforce development initiatives.
