Tender for the Provision of Public Engagement in Dundee's City Square over the Festive Season

Notice Description

The Purchaser is seeking to appoint a competent and suitably qualified Concessionaire who will deliver a six week public engagement programme during the festive period. The successful Concessionaire will be required to deliver an engagement event programme offering variety of creative activities and/or entertainment that will attract and engage the public. Examples can include but are not limited to the provision of a festive market, licenced bar*, catering units, retail opportunities, activities, entertainment, etc. Following the appointment of the successful Concessionaire, Dundee City Council shall financially support development proposals and innovative opportunities leading to an established and successful annual event.

The Purchaser is seeking to appoint a competent and suitably qualified Concessionaire who will deliver a six week public engagement programme during the festive period. The successful Concessionaire will be required to deliver an engagement event programme offering variety of creative activities and/or entertainment that will attract and engage the public. Examples can include but are not limited to the provision of a festive market, licenced bar*, catering units, retail opportunities, activities, entertainment, etc. Following the appointment of the successful Concessionaire, Dundee City Council shall financially support development proposals and innovative opportunities leading to an established and successful annual event.

Renewal: It is envisaged that the contract will operate each winter for the next three years with a one year proposed extension by mutual agreement of both parties.
