Summary of the contracting process

The procurement process is being led by Southside Housing Association Ltd for a project titled "Stock Condition Survey," situated in Glasgow, UK, under the housing and community amenities sector. As part of the current tender stage, Southside Housing Association has invited submissions from qualified tenderers to conduct a comprehensive stock condition survey, essential for fulfilling legislative and business planning responsibilities. The tender period is set to close on 23rd May 2019. The procurement method utilised is selective, specifically designed as a restricted procedure.

This project presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in surveying and consultancy services, particularly those proficient in assessing older building stock typical to the Glasgow area, such as pre-1919 tenements and 1960s multi-storey flatted buildings. Companies with experience in stock condition surveys and historical building assessments, including those that hold necessary professional qualifications, will be well-positioned to compete. Notably, potential bidders are expected to demonstrate relevant expertise and meet financial criteria to qualify for submission, making this an attractive opportunity for appropriately skilled small to medium-sized enterprises.
