The SPCB requires a Contractor to provide Gaelic Translation Services to support its Gaelic Language Plan and Language Policy by: - translating parliamentary business publications such as committee inquiry reports into Gaelic; - translating Gaelic for other parliamentary business or engagement purposes, such as events and exhibition materials, public information, and education materials; - enabling it to receive and deal with written evidence and public petitions in Gaelic; - enabling it to receive, reply to and initiate correspondence in Gaelic; - translating news releases into Gaelic; - producing material for use on the Scottish Parliament Gaelic website or blog; - providing a proof-reading service for Gaelic texts. - ensuring all translations are accurate and of a consistently high standard and delivered in a timely manner.

Renewal: The Contract may be extended by up to 24 months at the sole discretion of the SPCB.
