Notice Description
The Framework Agreement covers the provision of Fresh Bakery products to the Scottish Higher and Further Education sector. The Authority was seeking to obtain, through this tendering process, price normalisation for all Institutions within a Lot - regardless of size and demand. The Authority was also seeking to gain a level of price normalisation across the Lots where no Lot is subsidised by a smaller or more geographically disperse Lot. The Framework is split into five geographical lots: Lot 1:North Highland & Western Isles Lot 2:Aberdeen & Grampians Lot 3:Perth, Angus, Dundee & Fife Lot 4:South East of Scotland (Stirling, Edinburgh, Lothian and Borders) Lot 5:South West of Scotland (Greater Glasgow, Argyll, Renfrewshire & Ayrshire) A maximum of 3 Contractors have been appointed per lot. The agreement is for a period of 36 months with the option to extend for a further period of 12 months.
Lot Information
Perth, Angus, Dundee & Fife
The purpose of this Lot was to provide Fresh Bakery Products to the Institutions in Perth, Angus, Dundee & Fife. There are three appointed contractors on this Lot.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015
Renewal: The Authority reserves the right to extend the Framework Agreement for a period of up to 12 months subject to satisfactory performance and continued Institutions requirements.
South East of Scotland (Stirling, Edinburgh, Lothian and Borders)The purpose of this Lot was to provide Fresh Bakery Products to the Institutions in South East of Scotland (Stirling, Edinburgh, Lothian and Borders). There are three appointed contractors on this Lot.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in Regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.
