Notice Title

Supply of digital application based software - Scottish Prison Service

Notice Description

The purpose of this Prior Information Notice is to gauge market interest of a future opportunity to provide the Scottish Prison Service with integrated software that users can interact with through application based technology.

Lot Information

Lot 1

The SPS is looking for a supplier of software before late 2020 that would provide a range of integrated services to 150 devices over three separate locations. Initially these locations will be a new Women's National Facility (near Bridge of Allan, Stirling) and 2 community custody units located in Dundee and Glasgow. This system would be required to broadcast to the three facilities across a shared network allowing users to interact through app based technology within Smart televisions. The services that would be included as a minimum in the technology would be:- - Inclusion of a menu selection module that would allow users to select menus and be provided with nutritional information along with visual images. - Publication of information services including notices that would broadcast establishment events, notices and any other information required. - Separate user interaction for both staff and end user to allow staff to populate notices, amend educational information and provision of account maintenance. - Controlling the information broadcast to all sites from one remote location but also the ability to feed information locally from the individual units. Going forward the SPS may look to utilize the software in additional community custody units and potentially open it up to other sites within the SPS estate so evidence of being able to future-proof the software would be beneficial.. This is a Prior Information Notice only. No tender documentation is available at this time.
