The purpose of Graduate Apprenticeships is to support the growth of Scotland's economy. Offered at SCQF 8,9,10 and 11 GAs benefit individuals by offering a high quality, equal and alternative work-based route to degree and masters education. GAs support employers to create high performing workplaces that supports recruitment, talent management and the continuing professional development of their employees creating businesses that can grow and prosper.

Lot 1

Graduate Apprenticeships (GA) Challenge Fund are work-based learning programmes at SCQF levels 8, 9, 10 and 11 that lead to degree level qualifications. They allow an individual to work and gain a better degree at the same time. GAs are nationally recognized, accredited, and certified by a learning provider. In the case of GAs at SCQF Level 9, 10 or 11, they lead to a higher education degree or post graduate award. At SCQF level 8, they lead to an award with 240 credits, the same level as an HND, but are not restricted to HNDS and are work-based. This is a Challenge Fund process, which is open to Further and Higher Education (FE/HE) institutions operating in Scotland who would be eligible for SFC Core Funding. Applications are invited from colleges as sole/lead bidders for framework at SCQF level 8, and with a lead University partner for frameworks at SCQF level 10 and/or 11.
