Notice Description

Edinburgh and Lothians Greenspace Trust (ELGT) is inviting tenders from suitably qualified suppliers to provide the design and construction of sections of a 16 miles of shared-use footpath and associated works within West Lothian. This is the first phase of the shared-use footpath works within West Lothian.The Design and Construction and upgrading of approximately 850 meters of shared use footpath over four locations as part of the development of a 16-mile shared use footpath enabling the creation of a heritage trail.

The works included within this contract are of a similar nature for the 4 sites and involve a variety of design and construction of a lowland footpath network. - Design of New and existing path routes - Construction of new semi-bound footpaths - Construction of new unbound footpaths - Upgrading of existing unbound footpaths - Erection of new post and rail fencing - Removal of redundant infrastructure (paths, fencing, steps) - Repair and upgrade of footpath bridges. - Drainage works
