Notice Description

SPS uses the internet to access the World Wide Web from its Primary data centre in Edinburgh and its Secondary data centre in Chapelhall. The current contract is due to expire and there is a requirement to retender for the provision of this particular Service. This Contract shall be for a period of 3 years plus up to a further 3 years extension period. The SPS is seeking to procure a managed active-active internet connection that is flexible and scalable enough to be capable of meeting both current and future requirements. As a managed network service the SPS requires the supplier to be responsible for providing services (inclusive of managed CPE) to an agreed Service Level Agreement and backed up with robust service management.
