Notice Description
Overall, the aim of the Shale Trail interpretation project is to: Create an inspiring enjoyable off-road trail linking some of West Lothian's key shale villages, sites and features. To enable local people and visitors to engage and learn about every aspect of local oil shale heritage through emotional storytelling encouraging users to have an empathetic connection to the past. The interpretive experience will combine several elements ranging from simple audio-visual interactions to virtual representations creating a storyline that makes users feel the past heritage.
