Lot 1
Stone, Sea and Sky celebrates the architecture of Scotland's Islands, and will be the closing event for Scottish Civic Trust's celebration of Doors Open Days turning thirty. It brings together architects and artists to work on a single project promoting civic identity across the islands. The project will take the form of a series of engagement and development workshops focusing on place and the built environment across the Outer Hebrides and Argyll and the Islands. The project will culminate in a public celebration event at the end of September 2019. This public free event will be held in two places - one in Argyll and the Islands, and one in the Outer Hebrides. This is a partnership project led by the Scottish Civic Trust, in collaboration with Royal Incorporation of Architects Scotland (RIAS).
