Renfrewshire Council seeks to enhance Castle Semple Country Park, Lochlip Road, Lochwinnoch, Renfrewshire as a visitor destination by improving the standard of cafe provision and is looking to gauge market interest with a view to forming an agreement for a cafe concession facility. Castle Semple Country Park is a year-round facility which provides access to leisure, education and health activities to approximately 350,000 visitors per year. Castle Semple Visitor Centre currently operates from 10am - 5pm (April to September) and 10am - 4pm (October to March) and the car parks, tracks and trails are open all day, every day. Castle Semple Visitor Centre is located beside Castle Semple Loch, a 1.5-mile-long inland freshwater loch. The loch is a venue for leisure and sporting activity delivered by the Park and the adjacent sports clubs. An RSPB bird sanctuary is located on the Loch's southern shore. Further information about Castle Semple Country Park may be viewed at http://clydemuirshiel.co.uk/park-sites/castle-semple/ The options to form a Concession Contract are varied and offer many opportunities for prospective organisations who have an interest in this type of business. In order to assist with our research, we are inviting interested parties to complete a Market Analysis Questionnaire in order to gain an understanding of the marketplace. This document will not be evaluated and is for information purposes only. It is intended that the information gained in this document will enable the Council to shape the project and a potential procurement exercise. Please submit your completed questionnaire to joyce.boutiche@renfrewshire.gov.uk. The deadline for responses is 12 noon on Tuesday 20th August 2019. Any responses received following this deadline may not be taken into consideration.. Economic operators may be excluded from this process if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015
