Summary of the contracting process

The procurement process is led by Perth & Kinross Council, which is seeking a contractor for the "Building Management System (BMS) Upgrade & Improvement Project." This project falls under the works category and focuses on enhancing building management systems across various locations in Perth and Kinross. The tender method is open, allowing broad participation, and it is currently in the active stage, with a submission deadline having ended on 16 October 2019. The project has a budget of £1,250,000, and interested suppliers should have relevant capabilities to assist the Council in meeting government targets for carbon neutrality.

This tender presents valuable opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) specialising in building management systems, particularly those with experience in Siemens Desigo Insight and Desigo CC technologies. Companies with a track record in similar projects, and those equipped to demonstrate their capacity through past work examples, will be well-positioned to compete. The need for contractors who can support Perth & Kinross Council in achieving environmental targets further underscores the potential for business growth in this sector.
