Notice Description

Police Scotland is collaborating with the University of Glasgow, Aerospace Sciences Research Division, to design and develop a bespoke RPAS (Remotely Piloted Aircraft System) for operational police use. Police Scotland provides in kind support to the collaboration with officers from the ASU (Air Support Unit) regularly engaging with students during the design process. To give further support to this work Police Scotland required to provide use of a dual sensor camera system capable of being fitted to a small RPAS for testing regimes to allow progression of the design and build.
