Lot 1

The project comprises of the supply and installation of the new main switchboard arrangement and associated alterations/modifications and works at Glasgow Royal infirmary to facilitate this. The project works will also include for stripping out the existing main switchboard at the end of the project, cleaning and wiping down the existing switchroom and associated local area, sealing and painting walls, floors, ceiling to avoid the ingress and future build-up of dust etc. The primary areas of works are located on Level 01 of the Maternity Building, where the main switchboard is located, however there are other works out with the main switchroom that need to be taken in to account, including for section board alterations, automatic power transfer panels and temporary power systems and supplies, generally all as detailed on the project layout drawings.
