Diagnostic imaging is an integral part of patient care and research on the Easterbush Campus. We have made large investments and established state-of-the-art imaging facilities for animals, which include digital radiology, a digital equine radiography unit with robotic x-ray unit, 64-slice computed tomography, cone-beam computed tomography, low-field magnetic resonance imaging, 1.5T and 3T high-field magnetic resonance imaging, scintigraphy and ultrasound. The new archiving facility should allow for all the varied modalities and medical equipment to integrate in a seamless process, in order to enhance the user's experience in the provision of service excellence. The publication of a PIN will be used to inform the market of the University's intention to procure an all-encompassing image archiving and viewing solution, such as a Vendor Neutral Archiving system, or similar technology, via the OJEU.
