Award of 701_0574 ATV Ranger Track Construction and Upgrade - Cowal
Notice Description
FES will be awarding a contract for the construction and upgrade of ATV ranger tracks in Cowal. The main purpose of the access repairs and creation is to facilitate deer control on the National Forest Estate.This work allows FLS and contract wild life teams to access forest blocks, open hill and restock coupes in order to protect from deer and to retrieve carcasses for income from venison sales. This work is an essential part of forest management protection.Our intention is to award this contract for a period of three years (3 years) with a value of up to PS16,000 per year. There will be an option to extend the contract by up to a further two months in total. The total value of this contract over the entire period, including any extension options, will be in the region of PS48,000.
