Notice Description
An automated high precision optical 3D scanner is required at the Advanced Forming Research Centre (AFRC) in Inchinnan. The equipment is required to conduct measurement on a range of different components, with the ability for high throughput, and the inclusion of integrated software for comparison with CAD data.

Lot 1
The University of Strathclyde seek to appoint a singe supplier to supply, delivery and commissioning of an Automated High Precision Optical 3D Scanner. This requirement involves software, warranty, servicing, training, delivery, installation and commissioning. This equipment is required to conduct measurements on a range of different components, with the ability for high throughput, and the inclusion of integrated software for comparison with CAD data. This piece of equipment shall be housed at the Lightweight Manufacturing Center (LMC) and used by Advanced Forming Research Center (AFRC) staff. Please refer to the Procurement documents for full details
Options: The Contracting Authority reserves the right to request additional deliveries by the Successful Tenderer, either intended as partial replacement of suppliers or installations or as extensions of existing supplies and installations. The Contracting Authority may at it's sole discretion exercise this option
