CT0654 - Victim Support
Notice Description
The City of Edinburgh Council (The Council) have a requirement for a service provider to support individuals who have been a victim of crime. The service employs specially trained individuals who work with victims of: sexual abuse, domestic abuse, murder and culpable homicide. Victims should be supported to participate at all stages of the criminal justice process including offering them assistance at court to put them at ease. The Service provides victims with tailored crime prevention and safety advice to reduce the risk of repeat victimisation and also works with individuals to alleviate the mental health and anxiety issues which can result from being a victim of crime. This PIN is being used by the Council to understand the options in the current marketplace. The Council will issue a follow-up questionnaire to potential providers who register their interest on this notice. The questionnaire will be used to ascertain bidder capability and capacity.
