Replacement of fire alarm system including occupied flats within a retirement housing development.

The proposed works comprise stripping out the existing fire alarm system and installing a new system to comply with BS 5839 Part 1 2002 and Part 6 2004. The system must be designed, installed and commissioned to comply with Type L2 classification throughout the premises. the existing cabling is to be assessed by the contractor and may be retained if deemed suitable.
