Technical Support for Extended Producer Responsibility: Mattresses
Notice Description
Zero Waste Scotland wishes to procure the services of a Contractor(s) to provide technical support required for the investigation of options for an Extended Producer Responsibility Scheme (EPR) for mattresses in Scotland. Support is required for both impact assessments and research and analysis to assist with the potential development of an Outline / Full Business Case for a preferred option. Support will be provided through a combination of a fixed initial requirement and call off activity as required thereafter.

Zero Waste Scotland requires a Contractor capable of providing and delivering a methodology for synthesising all evidence supporting the development of an Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) scheme for mattresses in Scotland, to build upon a long-list of previously developed EPR options and address any gaps identified in the available information. Further details of requirements are provided in the Tender documents.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.
Impact AssessmentZero Waste Scotland requires a Contractor capable of providing and delivering a methodology for effectively appraising the economic, environmental and equality impacts of a mattress Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) scheme designed for Scotland.
