The electric furnace must have a maximum internal temperature of 1200degC. The proposed furnace will be loaded by a manipulator and must therefore be capable of operating in an automated mode in conjunction with the press and manipulator. The maximum pre-forged part size will be 600mm diameter, 1000mm long. This material will be re-heated a number of times during processing and the final length will be circa 4000mm length and 265mm diameter after processing through press cycle. The furnace should be capable of re-heating the final part geometry of 265mm diameter x 4000mm long. Max part weight 1000kg. The furnace will be required to heat three parts simultaneously.",
