The requirement is to conduct a pilot with the University of Glasgow to run, manage and control remote VR training and presentations over 5G. University of Glasgow has identified several use cases for the VRtuoso 5G Cloud, however the initial one will be tutor/training around the Nano Centre. The supplier through VRtuoso will provide us with the VRT15 ENTERPRISE edition license which is required for the operation of immersive VR headsets, streaming content from VRtuoso cloud. Direct award made to comply with the reformed EU Public Procurement Directive regulations for single source requirements. Reference: The Procurement (Scotland) Regulations 2016 - Regulation 6 Internal Procurement Policy Exception Form completed. Internal PPE Ref 5236.
