Students can be taught either a) in a traditional classroom/language Laboratory environment with an element of online learning if appropriate; or b) through blended learning with a predominantly online component using an established Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) which will include some face-to-face tutorial contact. The classes will aim to develop the student's general language skills, which will be of value in both working life and social situations. The classes must also provide students with a sound knowledge of relevant aspects of the contemporary society of the country in question. Each student will have a tutor who will mark and offer feedback on written and spoken tutor-marked assignments, as well as providing advice and guidance both individually and to a tutor group.",
