Notice Description

HES has a requirement for a facility, to be based at Edinburgh Castle on the Esplanade, to provide shelter to visitors and staff from the Scottish weather. HES must be able to move the facility with ease in and out of the Castle and be able to position it at different locations on the Esplanade and move it to other sites during major events, or when required. The facility will serve to provide a partial visual barrier and will be used to control the flow of visitors. The facility must be large enough to provide space for 4 - 6 security personnel carrying out the searches and must allow level access without the need for steps or ramps.

Options: The contract is to cover 1 (one) vehicle and then the maintenance and servicing of the vehicle. Depending on the success of the vehicle further vehicles may be required during the life of the contract.
