Repair and maintenance of Community Equipment within Care homes, educational premises and domestic dwellings

Glasgow City Council has issued this notice to access the market for the following requirement. The framework would require potential suppliers to provide a planned preventative maintenance programme for approximately 21,000 assets located principally throughout Glasgow, West & East Dunbartonshire, Renfrewshire & East Renfrewshire and South Lanarkshire Council areas. The maintenance programme will ensure full compliance with Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER) and all associated electrical and mechanical equipment legislation. The framework would be separated in to lots which are still to be determined as the scope is refined. Below is an example of the potential requirement Planned and reactive maintenance for care homes and educational premises, patient handing aids, bio bidet, stair climbers, closomats, seating for adults, paediatric equipment, bathing, showering and wheelchairs, beds, mattresses, pumps and suction machines
