Notice Description
The Authority was seeking Contractor(s) to provide Laundry Services and associated services for Institutions across Scotland. The provision of Laundry Services was split into two separate service models: One model covered all Laundry Services, including the hire of garments and linen. The other service model solely covers the Collection, Wash and Return of Institution owned linen and garments. Institutions throughout Scotland may require services that cover year round launder of garments and linen, including areas such as Catering, Hospitality, Residential, Hair & Beauty and Leisure. The agreement is for a period of 24 months with the option to extend for a further 24 months and commenced May 2020.

Lot 1A (Hire Services and Collect, Wash & Return Services) - Highlands & Islands
The purpose of Lot 1A was to provide Institutions within the geographical area of the Highlands and Islands with the provision of linen and garment hire services, in addition to the provision of a collect, wash and return launder service.. Economic operators may have been excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.
Renewal: The Authority reserves the right to extend the Framework Agreement for a period of up to 24 months subject to satisfactory performance and continued Institutions requirements.
