Notice Description
Scottish Borders Council is looking to engage the services of an Edinburgh Legal firm who can provide legal expertise and conduct court work on behalf of the Council. The objective of this contract is to ensure that Scottish Borders Council is properly and adequately represented in all Court of Session work, and to provide an "out of hour's service" for all court work at weekends and during public or other holiday periods as required. The value of the business is the indicative value over the next 4 years - this spend level can however vary depending on the cases which emerge.

Scottish Borders Council is looking to engage the services of an Edinburgh Legal firm who can provide legal expertise and conduct court work on behalf of the Council. The objective of this contract is to ensure that Scottish Borders Council is properly and adequately represented in all Court of Session work, and to provide an "out of hour's service" for all court work at weekends and during public or other holiday periods as required. Due to the diversity of services that the Legal Team requires to provide to the Council, it is important that the successful tenderer has experience in all areas and can offer best value.
Renewal: The contract will have a 12 month renewal option at the end of the 3 year contract. The value of the business being advertised at eighty thousand pounds is the aggregated value over the four year duration of the contract.
