Clackmannanshire Council is seeking external partners to assist with the development and delivery of bespoke leadership development programmes for our Senior Management, Middle, and First Line Management groups of staff. Focussed on the Council's 'Be the Future' values, the Council is seeking partners who can provide modern solutions focussed on promoting collaboration and innovation between managers, and which will assist with creating the conditions for change required to transform the Council, and assist with recovery from the recent Coronavirus pandemic.

Lot Information

Senior Management programe

This programme will be aimed at Senior Managers, with a view to creating a strong legacy of effective and supportive management practice within the Council. Through a blend of leadership theory and practical management skills, this programme will equip participants with the skills to understand and work with scale and complexity, recognise and foster innovative practice, and model new ways of work and risk management.. Middle Management programme

This programme will focus on the development of our Middle Managers, who have a unique roll in navigating and managing a complex blend of operational issues, whilst embedding the principles and vision of the Council through their own leadership skills. The programme will draw on this unique blend by providing development opportunities which will build a sense of common purpose and strong connections between service areas, and help this important cohort of staff model the Council's vision in both their work, and how they engage with staff and the public.. First Line Management Programme

This programme will be aimed at first line managers, and those with supervisory or charge hand roles. Key to the success of this programme will be how we embed the 'Be the Future' principles within the content, in order to create a cadre of managers who have the skills, knowledge, and behaviours to deliver and maintain sustainable services, in a manner reflective of our values..
