    "description": "Socially Responsible Investment (SRI) Policy Since 2003, the University has had a Socially Responsible Investment (SRI) Policy which has endorsed an approach based on 'engagement' with companies on ethical issues. In January 2013 the University became the first in Europe to sign up to the United Nations Principles of Responsible Investment which provides a framework for the University to take environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) considerations into its investment strategies. This year the University launched a review of its SRI policy and is now working to redraft it.
