Provision of a Feasibility Study for a Climate Neutral Glasgow City Innovation District - The project aims to secure a Contractor who will provide a feasibility study for a Climate Neutral Glasgow City Innovation District. This work is a collaboration between the University of Strathclyde (UoS), Glasgow City Council and a number of other public and private organisations. The vision behind this work supports the development of a pathway to 'net zero' emissions for those involved, the city and its communities. The aim of the feasibility study is to determine how best to combine a set of innovative solutions that together create a 100% renewable energy system delivering power, heat, transport solutions, climate adaptation, wellbeing and social inclusion within the Glasgow City Innovation District (the "District"). The work will be focused on creating a 'whole systems' approach within the area of the District and neighbouring communities. The work will include a strong focus on emissions reduction and positive impact, deployment at scale, community and stakeholder engagement and involvement. There will also be consideration of the potential for learning, teaching and research opportunities. -
