NSSCOVID-19-062 Programme Manager for SEC Hospital
Notice Description
Programme Management works associated with the conversion of the Scottish Event Complex (SEC) into a temporary hospital facility with approx. 1000 beds and associated ancillary accommodation. The scope of works is: - Liaison with Ministry of Defence. - Establishment of PMO across Design / Construction / RM / Operations. - Development of PMO level controls. - Co-ordination of daily 'agenda'. - Co-ordination activities with SEC regarding site accesses and insurances. - Feedback of lessons learned from Excel. - Establishment of Common Data Environment. - FM advice and FM procurement support.

This is a directly awarded contract between the Authority on behalf of NHS Scotland to meet the additional demands of the Scottish Health and Social Care sector during the current Covid-19 pandemic. This award has been approved for reasons of extreme urgency brought about by events unforeseeable by the contracting authority in line with Regulation 33(1)(c) of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015 If under OJEU threshold but still a regulated Contract then Regulation 6(1)(c) of the Procurement (Scotland) Regulations should be cited
