    "description": "Purchasing Authority: This Contract Notice has been issued by VisitScotland on behalf of 2023 Cycling World Championships Limited (a company limited by guarantee incorporated in Scotland (Registration Number: SC656048)), which is a wholly owned subsidiary of VisitScotland. However, Tenderers should be aware that any Contract that is awarded pursuant to this procurement may be entered into by 2023 Cycling World Championships Limited or by VisitScotland. Tenderers should also be aware that any Contract that is awarded pursuant to this procurement will be entered into by 2023 Cycling World Championships Limited or VisitScotland (as applicable) for its own benefit and for the benefit of: (i) the other one of VisitScotland or 2023 Cycling World Championships Limited (as applicable); (ii) the Scottish Ministers, Glasgow City Council, Glasgow Life, UK Sport and any other public sector bodies that are involved in the planning, organisation and/or staging of the 2023 Cycling World Championships at any time or from time to time; and (iii) British Cycling and the Union Cycliste Internationale. Sub Contractors: Where the Tenderer proposes to use sub-contractors in the delivery of the Contract, the Tenderer must provide specific details of the nominated subcontractors as stated in the Contract Notice and Section D of Part II of Schedule 1 - European Single Procurement Document (ESPD). Right to extend: The Purchaser currently anticipates that Contract will be awarded for an initial period of 36 months, with a right for the Purchaser to extend that period at its discretion in the event of any postponement of the Championships.
