Notice Description
The Council are seeking to appoint a planning and land use consultant to review earlier studies and commission various technical studies, pull together the outcomes of the studies and use them to inform a Development Framework that will guide and inform the future development of the site having been allocated for housing. The site extends to some 21 hectares (51.95 acres) and is allocated for 489 units, located to the south of Dumfries town centre and within the Crichton Quarter area of Dumfries. Key aims of the Development Framework will be to: - 1)Create a sense of place with key connectivity to Dumfries town centre, 2)Create a high quality mixed tenure sustainable development with contemporary design and eco-friendly buildings; and 3)Provide a phasing and marketing plan for the site
