Notice Description

Tenders are invited for the provision of Principal Contractor to refurbish USAR's Aros an Rubha building, which is the former Knock primary school, Knock, Point, Isle of Lewis. This work will be carried out in line with design provided by USAR's Design Team. Proposals include: - Number of covers for the cafe increasing - The shop floor area and storage space increasing - The inclusion of a Post Office within the shop - Office accommodation for the building's tenants - Archive, storage and distribution space for the Community Newspaper - Display areas for the Comann Eachdraidh and the Ui Church - Flexible community space - Additional parking.
