The department of Pure and Applied Chemistry at the University of Strathclyde requires a multimode plate reader for development of bionanotechnology, medical diagnostics, and advanced materials. This equipment automates routine absorbance, fluorescence, luminescence spectroscopy characterization of chemical and biological cell samples placed in standardised multi-well plates (up to 384 samples per plate vs. current single measurements).

Options: The Contracting Authority reserves the right to request additional deliveries by the Successful Tenderer, either intended as partial replacement of supplies or installations or as extensions of existing supplies and installations.
