The University are looking for notes of interest in a potential tender opportunity. This tender will create a single appointment to work with the National Manufacturing Institute of Scotland (NMIS) The appointed supplier shall be required to deliver support packages on Metallic Powder Bed Fusion Additive Manufacturing. Support packages shall be delivered via Web and/or face-to-face sessions for Scottish SMEs as part of the Additive Manufacturing Business & Technology Support (AM-BATS) project. The services will be required from the 1st of November 2020 until 1st of December 2022. Within the project Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) within Scotland will be provided with access to expertise and facilities in the field of Additive Manufacturing. The project seeks to deliver a variety of "support packages" that focus on different aspects of additive manufacturing. One of these topics focuses on "Metallic Powderbed Fusion Additive Manufacturing". The National Manufacturing Institute Scotland (NMIS) has recently purchased this technology. The University seek to appoint a contractor to deliver detailed support packages on this technology. A successful applicant must be able to demonstrate the below as a minimum: - Metallic Powderbed AM content ready to be delivered - Content available in a digital format - Competency in delivering online training/consultancy courses - Competency in delivering face-to-face training/consultancy courses - A Proven track record in supporting SMEs - Conversant with relevant ASTM/ISO Standards for Additive Manufacturing
