Summary of the contracting process

Capital City Partnership is initiating a procurement process for a software partner to develop an integrated Management Information System (MIS) aimed at enhancing employability across the Edinburgh and South East Scotland City Regional Deal (ESES CRD) area. The procurement is currently in the planning stage, with a planned notice to formally invite indications of interest set to be released on 19 October 2020. This project, part of the Integrated Regional Employability and Skills (IRES) Programme, will span four years and involves collaboration across six local authorities in the region.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in software development and information systems, particularly those with experience in public sector projects. Companies able to provide innovative solutions that support service improvement and person-centred approaches within employability services will be well-positioned to compete. Given the emphasis on collaboration with additional organisations working in employability, any firm that can demonstrate an ability to integrate diverse stakeholder requirements and deliver adaptable software solutions is likely to thrive in this competitive process.
